Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CaraQAway Learning Center website, learner accounts, educational materials, activities, and related services provided by CaraQAway LLC ("CaraQAway," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Learning Center, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
1. Educational Purpose
CaraQAway provides Quality Assurance education, practice, exercises, learning resources, feedback opportunities, and career-readiness support. The Learning Center is an educational resource and does not guarantee employment, interviews, certification by a third party, a particular salary, or any specific professional outcome.
2. Eligibility
The Learning Center is intended for users age 18 and older. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.
3. Learner Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login information secure.
- You may not impersonate another person or create an account using false or misleading information.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account or learner profile.
- You should contact CaraQAway if you believe your account or information has been accessed without permission.
4. Learning Content and Progress
Lessons, quizzes, QA Missions, examples, templates, practice activities, and other Learning Center materials are provided for educational use. CaraQAway may update, reorganize, add, remove, or improve learning content as the program evolves.
Where learner progress is stored locally in a browser or device, clearing browser data, changing devices, or removing local storage may affect saved progress unless another storage method is provided.
5. AI-Assisted Learning
CaraQAway may use artificial intelligence tools to support study assistance, practice questions, summaries, feedback, explanations, and other educational features. AI-generated information can contain errors, incomplete information, or outdated material. Learners should use AI as a learning aid and independently verify important technical, career, legal, financial, or other high-impact information.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Learning Center or its systems.
- Use the Learning Center to distribute malware, harmful code, spam, or unlawful material.
- Copy, resell, republish, or commercially distribute CaraQAway learning materials without written permission.
- Use another learner's account or interfere with another person's access or progress.
- Submit content that violates the rights of another person or applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
CaraQAway owns or licenses the Learning Center design, branding, lessons, exercises, templates, written materials, graphics, and other original content unless otherwise stated. You may use Learning Center materials for your personal learning and portfolio development, but ownership of CaraQAway's underlying materials does not transfer to you.
Work that you personally create while completing exercises or QA Missions remains your work, subject to any third-party rights in the software, websites, screenshots, examples, or other materials you use.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Learning Center may use or link to third-party services such as hosting, authentication, analytics, email, payment, AI, cloud, or professional platforms. CaraQAway is not responsible for the independent terms, privacy practices, availability, or content of third-party services.
9. Fees, Tuition, and Payment Plans
Sprint 1 may be offered free of charge. Paid program access begins with Sprint 2 unless CaraQAway provides a different written offer. The current full-program tuition may be offered as $1,200 paid in full, four standardized payments of $300, or six standardized payments of $200. The price and payment option presented at enrollment control if CaraQAway later changes public pricing.
For installment plans, access to future paid program content may depend on the learner's payment status remaining current. If a required payment is missed, delayed, reversed, or otherwise unresolved, CaraQAway may pause access to future paid content until the account is brought current or another written resolution is reached. CaraQAway does not offer custom payment arrangements unless agreed to in writing.
Unless a different written refund policy is provided for a specific service, payments are final except where a refund is required by law. A payment pause does not intentionally erase completed learner work, but locally stored progress remains subject to the browser-storage limitations described in Section 4.
10. Graduation Website Benefit
Learners who successfully complete the CaraQAway program and satisfy required program payment obligations may qualify for the graduation website benefit. The included option allows the graduate to build one one-page professional website with CaraQAway guidance as part of the graduation experience, with no additional CaraQAway design charge for that student-built website.
A qualifying graduate who prefers CaraQAway to design the website may choose the CaraQAway Starter Website at the current graduate rate of $175, which is 50% off the regular $350 Starter Website price. The graduate rate applies only to the standard Starter Website scope.
Domain registration, hosting, paid themes or plugins, premium integrations, e-commerce functionality, custom backend development, multi-page expansion, ongoing maintenance, third-party fees, and work beyond the Starter Website scope are not included unless CaraQAway provides a separate written quote or agreement. The graduation website benefit is non-transferable and has no cash value. Program completion requirements may include required lessons, projects, assessments, and other published graduation requirements in effect for the learner's program.
11. Suspension or Termination
CaraQAway may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Learning Center, other users, CaraQAway's rights, or to address a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Learning Center at any time.
12. Service Availability
We work to keep the Learning Center available and functioning, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security concerns, or third-party service interruptions.
13. Disclaimer
The Learning Center and its content are provided for educational and informational purposes. To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided without warranties that they will meet every learner's needs or produce a particular result.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CaraQAway LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Learning Center. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Learning Center grows or legal, operational, or technical requirements change. When material changes are made, the Effective Date above will be updated. Continued use of the Learning Center after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
