Your lesson, knowledge-check answers, QA Mission responses, project draft, and completion status are saved automatically for this learner on this browser.
Required lesson completion: Each lesson has three knowledge-check questions and one QA Mission. All three questions must be correct and the QA Mission must be completed before the next lesson unlocks.
Sprint 1 • Hands-On Project
Build a Professional Bug Report
You will test a CaraQAway-built practice application containing a known defect. Your goal is not to collect as many bugs as possible. Your goal is to recognize the defect, reproduce it, reduce the steps, and write one precise report that another person can follow without asking you what you meant.
Practice app: The CaraQAway app and project link will be added here once the seeded-bug application is selected. The report builder is ready now so you can practice the reporting structure.
Sprint 1 Bug Report Builder
Complete one field at a time. Your draft saves automatically. The review button checks basic completeness and flags vague wording—it does not replace your own QA judgment.
Formula: feature/location + action or condition + exact incorrect behavior.
Include only environment details that can affect reproduction.
Example: User is signed in and has one item in the cart.
Use the shortest reliable numbered path. Remove unrelated actions.
No reactions, blame, or root-cause guesses.
Use a requirement, design, business rule, or approved expectation.
Evidence—not a guess.
Choose based on impact using the project scale.
Keep the impact factual and proportional.
The final project will use evidence from the assigned practice app.
PrecisionTitle states the exact defect. Actual and expected results are specific.
ReproducibilityAnother tester can follow the environment, preconditions, and shortest reliable steps.
Professional QA WritingOne defect, no filler, no blame, no unsupported root-cause guesses, and useful evidence.
